While I could lay this blog-post to rest with a single word, I feel that it’s necessary to expound upon why Singapore should on the radar of travelers to Southeast Asia and why the common perception that Singapore tourism is dead and that it’s boring city with nothing to do is completely outdated and flat-out wrong.
First of all, yes it is a very small country (Only 714.3 square kilometres based on Geography of Singapore), there’s no doubt about that, but I can assure you that if you’re only in the country for a short period of time, Singapore tours and attractions will far exceed your expectations –particularly if you don’t have any to start with. If there is a description that is aptly suited to the task of summarizing the governance of Singapore it is “pragmatic and logical.” Realizing that Singapore was lacking in the natural resources and attractions that draws millions of tourists to surrounding countries, Singapore has literally spent billions not only on tourism infrastructure, but superlative tourism infrastructure. The growing list of “most,” “biggest,” “tallest,” “longest” attractions in Singapore grows by the year making the country anything but stagnant when it comes to the number of things you can see on any given Singaporean travel or tour experience. To name a few, there is the gorgeous Gardens by the Bay –officially the most expensive and extravagant botanical garden on earth, the Singapore Flyer –long regarded as the tallest Ferris wheel on earth, as well as a host of other superlative attractions. Tour packages in Singapore are choked full of options ranging from authentic cultural experiences, dangerously delicious street food tours, and must-do city tours.
Bottom line is that Singapore not only qualifies as a travel destination, but it’s a must see travel destination. Few places on earth boast more things to do per square kilometer than Singapore and the fact that it represents what is basically the pinnacle of “New Asia” development makes visiting the country a unique and rewarding experience. If you need help on organizing your Singapore tours, I suggest Buffalo Tours as your travel ageny, I have several good experience with them, you can read more about their review on Trips Advisor.
